yeay...arini berjaya lagi berjog....yeah2...

actually kena packing ni...sat lagi ili da nak smpai...

i`m going back 2 shah alam again 2nite...

at first, mmg decide x nak balik dis weekend...sbb nak cover blaja ophtalmo...yg agak stress la kan...skang x jmpa2 lagi macula...aiyok..cmno tu??? STRESS....

tp come to think again...cam kesian la kat mama kalu x balik...

and ble pk2 balik...baikla balik umah skang ni sementara bolehbalik...

kang esk da kawen susah lak...ade tanggungjawab kat SUAMI....

esk2...kang kalu ade BF sure nak kuar weekend lak kan...

jadinye...sementara xde komitmen ni...balik la umah...jumpa mak bapak...

lagipun ade mission lain gak...nak paksa papa mama ngn fada penyumbang mata...

aiyok kena berusaha gak pandai guna ophtalmoscope dan mengappreciate fundus itu...aisyyy

sarah`s bld culture shows no bacteria growth.
her ct scan also didn`t show any signs of meningitis....
she is now afebrile...her temperature is normal...
she will do another urine test...if everything clear...insyaAllah..should b no problem...
Alhamdulillah sgt2...she`s ok now...

dis morning had lecture frm d very motivated ophtalmologist prof muhaya...
she gave us a lot of TAKE HOME MSG (i reallly like 2 used this words lately)
she mentioned dat in 'life is about choice!'

n she mentioned about giving d positive aura n getting back d positive aura....(i`m learning 2 instilled it in myself...hurm...)

btw, today is a long day for me...i only had egg sandwich as my bfast at 9am...went to lecture, clinic(today most of d patient hv catarct) until 3 then went up to ward until 4 sumtin...straight to d library...get msg from uncle p bout sarah(still remember her? she`s my cousin dat only 1 month i mentioned in my prev post)she`s been admitted in hosp ampang putri late this afternoon for having high grade fever(her temp was 39.9C) and dr suspect her MENINGITIS?? i` worried...decided to pay her visits..but due 2 heavy rain..i waited until about 6.30pm , only then headed 2 d hosp.
went there by taking taxi to bndr tun razak lrt(d taxi driver didnt wanna send me straight 2 ampang putri)then change train in chan sow lin b4 stopped at Ampang station. d que for taxi was too long dat i decided 2 take bus straight 2 ampang point then walked to ampang putri.

when i reached ..my aunty fiona(sarah`s mother)was crying and looked worried and got out from d procedure room as she couldnt see anymore d DR trying to poke her daughter`s hand to insert d iv line....i went in n introduced myself to d paediatrician in charge...at first she asked me 2 wait outside as she afraid dat i will 'x sampai hati' too...but then i xplained 2 her dat i`m a medical stdnt n wud like 2 accompany my cousin...d dr is nice...she`s gentle...n sarah`s seems very cooperative eventhough she did cried at d very beginning...luckily d attempt succeed...(early in d evening d staff nurses has tried 2 poke her 3 times). she was given antibiotics and was given normal saline+glucose... later when check her temp already lowered a bit 38.9...hope everything is fine...n hope she gets better soon...(guys plz pray for her...thanx)

uncle eju arrived around 8 sumtin n only at 930pm i had my dinner merangkap 'qada' lunch n tea n supper. sbb lapar kan...rasa sedap je r.. mama daa n papa arrived around 930pm gk...they stucked in jam for 2 hours due 2 heavy rains + d oil pump station(gile panjang barisan kat smua stesen minyak...n gile naik sampai almost 80 sen??...isy2..) jalan kaki je la skng ni oits! x pun bwk beskal! x pun nek public transport...

kul 11 td br smpi bilek...aisy....kepenatan...~
but x pela...doakan smoga sarah cepat baik...

1. most of my friends used to and still call me FAIRUZ...
dulu2..time skola rendah sampai le ke skolah menegah rendah...byk sgt classmates yg ade nama alia...so, most of my classmates,teachers and even my bestfriends called me FAIRUZ...and only family called me ALIA...but only after goin 2 MRSM..some of my friends started to called me ALIA...

2. most of my friends now call me LALA...
the 'LALA' name started during my 2nd yr...i used ALIALALALA as my profile name in fs...and my girls and as far as i remembered...SHAH always called me 'ALIALALALA'...and if not mistaken IFFAH who started to shorten d 'ALIALALALA' to 'LALA'...is it? i cant remember exactly..but must b one of d girls...at first it sounds funny and a bit weird,...but after using it for more than a year...i`m liking it...it sounds fun and happy~ :)

3. my brothers and my neighbours and my parents(sometimes) called me KAKLONG...
since i`m d eldest in d family...they called me KAKLONG...in our family...my parents have thought us to address brothers and sisters by using KAK or ABG...it shows some respect..like my youngest brother will call his elder brother NGAH...and i find it a bit funny too in some families they can used 'kau' and 'aku' among their siblings...

4. my mom always like to call me YONGMOK...
d word is a combination of KAK YONG + GEMOK = YONGMOK
my youngest brother was a bit 'pelat' during his childhood...he has difficulties to pronounce 'L' properly..so instead of calling me KAKLONG..he called me KAKYONG...and being fat chubby. GEMOK, whatsoeva d synonym.....it`s one of my nicknames at home...hehe...sometimes to make its short she will just called me MOK...aiyok...and i`ll called her d same...ngeh2

ok..i think enough bout names...aisy...what? another 4 random facts eh??what shud i merepek more eh???

5. ok wani maybe i need to tiru wani also...but it`s true...i think i aso begin to like PINK...as in PINK!
ok...i used to hate PINK so much especially during my days in MRSM...i think maybe dat tyme i find it very distressing to see MISS FATEEN(sorry fateen) and maybe most of d rest of d girls being fanatic n being crazy about PINK....where dey need everything or most of their things to be PINK...it just so awful dat tyme...ngeh2...being me who loves PURPLE...i think d nearest colour who suits it best is PINK...and yes...i`ve bought a few PINK stuffs and clothes...I got myself a new PINK hp NOKIA 6120 classic gave by my parents, a PINK new tshirt from TZ...a new PINK baju kurung...and even a new PINK carpet for my room in college...can u believe it??haha....i think 'jangan benci sgt nanti lama2 suka/sayang' saying applies here...

6. I rarely comb my hair after shampooing it...
i started not combing my hair after shampooing since form 4...dat tyme i was in boarding school...and i cant remember who exactly but one of my friends told me if we comb our hair when it is wet...it will damage our hair and made d roots weaker...so...since then... i rarely and stop combing my hair after shampooing...and i find my hair is nicer without having 2 comb it...'guna jari pun boleh' applies here...

7. The only mineral water i like is SELECT from shell
i hate distilled water...especially SEAMASTER...and i find most of the mineral water has d 'payau' tastes....but i started drinking mineral water SELECT from SHELL since form 4 i think after being introduced by my father...i will by a 24 '500ml bottles mineral water' in a carton...d taste is nice without d 'payau' taste and it is cheap...only rm13.50 for 24 bottles which made it only cost rm 0.55 per bottle...i`ve promote to most of my friends and more and more people started buying it...haha

8. i love taking PICTURES and be in d pictures...
i have a lot of pictures of my friends, families, even myself..n wit d digital camera and camera phone being introduced makes my habits even worst...i don mind taking other people pictures using my camera...but i feel ANNOYED when other people who have no camera dont volunteer to take my pics when i`ve took theirs...it just a simple rules...if u dont have camera,...its ok to be in others pics..but at least VOLUNTEER to take their pics once they already take yours...its just not fair d owner of d camera is not in d pic!

new posting

today is d first day for our new opthalmology posting
new posting means new group members
dis tyme i`m in d same grup wit 'bapak',kak sue anida,yujun,kak has, and pei shan...
i think d new group is ok...got 'bapak' 2 take care of me...hahaha
and new posting means another new case write up need 2 be submitted by the end of next 3weeks...

d day started off with briefing by dr hAzlita(did i get her name right? i hope so) then lecture by dr theng (who eventually is our group supervisor)...he looks a bit naive-type a bit with his 'UK' accent..i think he has d same graph of voice projection a bit monotonous...but hey dont 'buli' my supervisor cik hajar!
supposed after d lecture we have a clinic session wit dr Theng...however he had an emergency cases..so we just tagged along wit d MO in his clinic...but due to the 'bzness' d MO just gave us a brief teaching on how to use ophtalmoscope n we were left by our own to practise d ophtalmoscope among ourselves!

i have difficulties in d very beginning 2 appreciate d red reflex, d optic disc d vessels...bla2...but after several attempts..at least i can recognise d red reflex vessels and optic disc..but still couldnt find d macula..hurmmm need 2 work on it!

later in d evening we got lecture about paediatric opthalmology and a video session on breaking bad news(we need to wait about 1 n a half hour juz to watch a 15mins video session) and i was really sleepy just now!

i dunno...after go thru d first day in opthalmology...i`m afraid that i need to admit that i`m quite not liking dis posting...i`m not as excited as in ent or anaesth posting...i dunno maybe i`m just getting exhausted...or maybe i`m juz being so negative...perhaps 2morow will b better...chaiyok2 lala...aja2 fighting!

actually there`s a lot of pending entries need to b published but i`m just not in d mood. will published it SOON....huhu

(ps: btw, i`ve been elected as a new assisstant for dis new posting :P haha...wani fazrul n kak pah sggh la jahat mengenakan aku kan...n dat smile plastered on pakdin face itu sggh la x leh bla...haha...)
